The important Tire Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence are being presented in five categories:

-        Tire Manufacturing Innovation;

-        Environmental Achievement;

-        Tire Technology of the Year;

-        Tire industry Supplier of the Year;

-        Manufacturer of the Year.

An independent, international jury of tire professionals, engineers, and academics will score each nomination, and the marks will be collated to determine the winners in each category. The winners will be announced and trophies presented during a Gala Dinner at TIRE  TECHNOLOGY Expo in Hamburg, Germany, on the evening of 18th February 2009 – the middle day of Tire Technology Expo 2009.

Around 500 tire industry professionals and members of the press are involved.

Comerio Ercole has been shortlisted for a Tire Technology International Award for Innovation and Excellence for its “automatic feeding section of liner rollers, and the Carousel system”.
