Joint Venture

In 2006 Comerio Ercole has established with the German company KAMPF a mixed company named CKA GmbH, in which the business related to PVC and PP calendering of both companies has been joined together.


It has been an important alliance, which has given a considerable contribution to the engineering of both companies and a concentration of the industrial activities in engineering, manufacture and assembly at the Italian factory Comerio Ercole.
From the strategic point of view, in order to make CKA GmbH more and more a pole of technological competences in calendering and finishing of PVC-PU-PP sheets, in 2009 the company ISOTEX – Gruppo Colombo has become partner of CKA GmbH with same share as Comerio Ercole.
So CKA GmbH adds to its wealth of technologies, the coupling, rotogravure printing, inspection, rewinding and embossing/laminating that are integrated to the calendering and mixing for processing of plastic materials in film, sheet or plate.
CKA GmbH remains a company with head-office in Germany but the innovative, manufacturing and technological heart is in Italy where nowadays the highest technical and technological level is available, granted by a manufacturing tradition and by an experience consolidated in the years.
